In today's A.M. Hot Clicks, I touched on the fact that all local announcers are homers. There is none bigger than the White Sox announcer Ken "Hawk" Harrelson, and personally I find it hysterical. Here's Harrelson calling Paul Konerko's 400th home run on Wednesday in which he screams "HELL YES." And listen to the complete sadness in Harrelson's voice a little while later when he calls Oakland's walk-off hit against Chicago.
Rangers Crying Kid Follow Up
I still haven't gotten any information on the kid who was brought to tears by two adults who wouldn't give him a foul ball at last night's Rangers game. However, I did get this SportsPickle.com link that looks back at other unflattering moments in Ranger fan history.

Just when you think local news can't get any more "wacky" and "outrageous," we have these folks who thought it would be great television to put an iPhone in a dunk tank to see if the case is waterproof. The only problem is that the reporter put her mic under water.
