E-Mail/Experiment Of The Day
JJ, of Toronto, wrote earlier this week to say, "Jimmy, first off I would like to say that I am a huge fan. Your work is awesome.
Secondly, I need your help. I am a 17-year-old that has way too much knowledge about sports. Particularly, the NHL, NCAA, NFL, NBA and MLB. I am the ultimate sports nerd. This year I have been following the spreads for NCAA football. Believe it or not, my current record is 8-0. I'm coming off a two-win week, picking Oklahoma and Duke to both cover their spreads. I came up with this crazy thought that one day I would be
Floyd Mayweather's Sports Betting Consultant. You and I both know that Floyd Mayweather enjoys betting on sports. This is where I need you. Do you have any kind of personal contact with him? Even if all you have is his Twitter account, can you pitch this idea to him? I know it's crazy but it's worth the shot."
I wrote back to JJ and told him that I don't have any way of contacting Mayweather. Plus, Mayweather's "I only reveal my winners" antics has gotten him banned from Hot Clicks. However, I'm a sucker for a good gambling experiment, so I told JJ to give me his picks for this week and I'd include them in Hot Clicks. I figured we can see what the kid's got and maybe we can make him a weekly fixture. His picks for Saturday: Michigan-Illinois (Over 49); USC -13 vs. Washington, and West Virginia -4 vs. Texas Tech.
